Infographic Tips

I researched and designed an infographic on the physical and mental health benefits of owning a pet as a class assignment for J452: Strategic Public Relations Communication. Infographics take concrete and often cumbersome information and present it in a visually appealing and easy-to-read way.

The Simple “1, 2, 3” Step Process for Success

Have one persuasive message. Use statistics, facts and details to support the main message.

Use no more than two typefaces. I used Impact for headlines and Helvetica for the content. The two fonts can be as diverse from one another as you’d like – but limit it to two.

Use three or fewer background colors. My graphic has two main background colors, but I could have picked another shade of green or blue to differentiate the header from the following body blocks.
